ACTIVE CITY BRAKE
The 208 GTi is always looking out for you. It features the new Active City Brake (Emergency Urban Collision Braking System technology), which helps avoid accidents or make them less serious. If you’re driving at speeds under 20 mph and the car in front stops suddenly, it automatically applies the brakes. It’s available with both the GTi and GTi by Peugeot Sport.
ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAMME
One of the most advanced safety features available, ESP gives you added peace of mind:
- ASR (Anti-Skid Regulation)
- EBA (Emergency Brake Assist), which applies maximum brake pressure when you depress the brake pedal
- ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), which prevents the wheels from locking up in the event of emergency braking, keeping you in control
- BFD (Electronic Brake Force Distribution), which distributes brake force between the front and rear wheels.
AIRBAGS
