The 308 GTi by Peugeot Sport draws extensively on the experience and expertise of the Peugeot Sport team to deliver a winning combination of high performance, first-rate road handling and maximum safety.

ROAD HANDLING

The 308 GTi by Peugeot Sport is a road-hugging marvel, its widened tracks (1,570 mm in front, 1,554 mm at the rear) shod with Michelin Pilot Super Sport 235/35 R19 tyres. The result is a level of grip that pushes lateral and longitudinal road holding to its outer limits. The car tackles corners with an assertive precision, making optimum use of its tyres thanks to the revisions carried out on the design of its front running gear. The wheel camber has been adjusted to -1.67°, as opposed to -0.6° on the regular 308. The rear articulation of the wishbone has been stiffened, taking it from 110 to 1800 daN/mm.

AIRBAGS

The 308 GTi by PEUGEOT SPORT is fitted with six airbags:

  • Two front airbags to protect the head and thorax of the driver and front passenger in the event of a front impact.
  • Two front side airbags to protect the driver and front passenger in the event of a side impact.
  • Two front and rear curtain airbags to protect the heads of the front and rear occupants.

BRAKE DISCS

To ensure plenty of braking power, the ventilated front discs are 380 mm in diameter (on the 270 hp version only - 330mm on the 250 hp version). They're mounted on aluminium hubs and pinched by four pistons (38 mm and 41 mm diameter) in a fixed Red caliper bearing the Peugeot Sport logo (only available on the 270 hp version). The rear discs are 268 mm in diameter.

In use, the system proves extremely durable and resilient, consistently delivering outstanding performance.
